Cordelia Chung is Vice President, Business Partners, IBM Asia Pacific. She joined IBM in 1991 as general counsel for China and Hong Kong. She became general counsel for the Greater China Group – China, Hong Kong and Taiwan in 1994 when the restructured management group was formed. In 1996, Ms. Chung was appointed as Vice President and General Counsel of IBM Asia Pacific, with responsibility for legal and security affairs for the Asia Pacific region. She became General Manager of IBM China/Hong Kong Limited in 2001. She assumed her current position in November 2003. Ms. Chung is a member of the IBM Senior Leadership Team.

Prior to joining IBM, Ms. Chung practiced law with an international law firm and specialized in corporate commercial law with an emphasis of advising foreign companies doing business in the emerging markets.

Ms. Chung serves as vice president on the Board of Governors of the Hong Kong American Chamber of Commerce. She also serves as member of various committees of the Hong Kong Government, namely the Information Infrastructure Advisory Committee, the Appeal Board on Closure Orders (Immediate Health Hazard), and the Citizens Advisory Committee on Community Relations of the Independent Commission Against Corruption. In addition, Ms Chung is a member of the Court of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and a member of the General Committee of the Hong Kong Arts Festival Society.
