Ainomaija Haarla is President and CEO of the Technology Academy Foundation, which promotes Finnish scientific research that encourages both innovation and new technologies which reinforce humane values and have a positive impact on the quality of human life. She has also served as the Managing Director of ProConsilium Oy. Before this, she was Vice President of Strategy for UPM-Kymmene Oyj, having also served as Vice President of Business Development of the company\u2019s operations in Augsburg, Germany. Dr. Haarla holds a seat on the boards of Neste Oil Oyj and Altia Oyj, and has been Chairman of the Board of Korona Invest Oy since 2008.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

She has also served as Vice Chairman of the SME Council of The Confederation of Finnish Industry and Employers.
