Ainomaija Haarla, President and CEO, Technology Academy Foundation
Ainomaija Haarla is President and CEO of the Technology Academy Foundation, which promotes Finnish scientific research that encourages both innovation and new technologies which reinforce humane values and have a positive impact on the quality of human life. She has also served as the Managing Director of ProConsilium Oy. Before this, she was Vice President of Strategy for UPM-Kymmene Oyj, having also served as Vice President of Business Development of the company’s operations in Augsburg, Germany. Dr. Haarla holds a seat on the boards of Neste Oil Oyj and Altia Oyj, and has been Chairman of the Board of Korona Invest Oy since 2008.
Johanna Ikaheimo, Chairman, Lappset Group Oy
Johanna Ikaheimo has served as Chairman of the Lappset Group since 2006. The Lappset Group produces sustainable playground equipment for children throughout the world. Beginning her career with Lappset in 1997 as Export and HR Manager, she currently also serves as Chairman of the Board of Lappset Italy, Lappset Spain, and Lappset UK. She has also served as Vice Chairman of the SME Council of The Confederation of Finnish Industry and Employers. She currently serves on the boards of several companies, including Varma Mutual Pension Insurance Company and the Regional Bank Of Handelsbanken.
