Andrea Amaro, Co-Founder, Avantis (Spain)

Andrea Amaro is a Co-Founder of Avantis, a strategic innovation consultancy group that is radically and humanly transforming the Spanish corporate world through talent, innovation, and purpose. She founded this project in 2019 while studying for her degree with the aim of reshaping the corporate world in a radical and humane way. She has also co-founded Mar de Fondo, a project whose main objective is to educate the greatest number of people to respect, care for and enjoy the environment through sports activity.

Dr. Marina Rigau, Co-Founder & CEO, MiMARK (Spain)

In 2021, Dr. Marina Rigau co-founded MIMARK Diagnostics, S.L.. a company devoted to improving women’s health by developing in vitro diagnostics for gynecological diseases by using gynecological fluids as the new liquid biopsy in the field. With over 15 years of experience in the biomedical research arena, including four years in biotech companies, she has participated in more than 25 scientific articles and is the inventor of 2 patents. From its beginning, she was involved in Transbiomed, SL, which was the first spin-off company from Vall Hebron. In 2012, Transbiomed merged with Amadix SL on which she has held a director position on Amadix’s board since 2016.

Maria Fernanda Reyes, Co-Founder, FarmX LLC & Biotrends (Mexico)

María Fernanda Reyes, Ph.D., a pioneer in agricultural innovation and an advocate for migrant workers' rights, is the Co-Founder of FarmX, a cloud-based, business-to-business e-commerce platform that empowers farmers to sell their products directly to grocery chains, restaurants and other buyers. She also currently holds the position of Global President for Agtech and Agrotourism at the G100. Originally from Sonora, Mexico, she inherited a legacy of innovation in agriculture from her family before studying in London and the U.S. A sampling of awards and recognitions she has received include being named one of the 200 Most Important Women in Mexico by Mundo Ejecutivo; Winner of the UC Davis Big Bang Competition 2021 for her innovation in Agtech; and recognized as a Woman Changing the World by the Mexican Senate.
